Testimonials

Best ski resort in the Midwest
::Skiing Magazine, 2009 ::

The Jackson Hole of the Midwest!
:: Skiing Magazine ::

Bohemia is large and steep enough to play host to cliffs and 35 foot drops. Bear in mind a 900 foot vertical drop is comparable to a resort like
Mt. Baker in Washington.
:: Snowboarder magazine ::

Midwest newest mountain puts it on the expert skier's map
:: Powder magazine ::

You have the greatest traditional ski area left in the country.  Please never change, Bohemia is by far the greatest ski resort in between Arapahoe Basin and Sugarloaf and the greatest in the midwest by a long shot.  I now live and work in Beaver Creek, CO but still miss some of the amazing pow that I encountered as I was dropping cliffs and staring at the view at Mount Bohemia. Please NEVER change, you have the coolest back country resort I have ever been to!  Thanks, you guys are awsome.
:: Mike I. from Colorado::

My friends and I spent eleven hours snowboarding on Mount Bohemia this past Saturday and we loved it! We were amazed at the wide variety of terrain Mount Bohemia offers.
:: Tim S. from Marquette, MI::

Mount Bohemia has very little in common with other Midwestern ski areas, the runs at Bohemia are legitimately steep and sporting, with quality fall-line skiing.
:: Sam from Skiing Magazine::

THIS place is for real. Consistent pitch and vertical drop of Bohemia’s trails makes them comparable to runs at mountain resorts in New England and the West.
:: Mike Murphy--former professional skier ::

The Extreme Back Country challenged me every bit as much as
Steamboat's Christmas Tree bowl.
:: Brandon, S. from Appleton WI ::

I'm so stoked you opened. Finally a real ski area in the Midwest.
Stay hardcore no beginner runs!
:: Hank from Minneapolis, MN::

Totally awesome!! The terrain and layout of the runs is world class. Skied the extreme backcountry all day .Anyone who needs challenging terrain will ski Bohemia. I will probably not go anywhere else in the UP anymore. Your place rocks!
:: Mike from Green Bay, WI::

I just want to say that Mount Bohemia is the best mountain I have ever been to in my life, no exaggeration. I live near Detroit and have been going to small hills all my life. We made it to Bohemia and it was beyond words!
:: Scott from Farmington Hills, MII::

Your Mountain rocks!!!!!!! We visited Bohemia and I am almost speechless. As a Boyne season pass holder for the last five years you absolutely blow away the competition away. We have skied all the northern Michigan ski resorts,Ironwood areas, and two of the Ontario resorts. Putting all those resorts together do not even approach your extreme backcountry.
:: Randy from Jackson,MI ::

Mount Bohemia is like no other ski area in the Midwest and in fact like few others in the USA. Every run here is an adventure. Twists,turns,bumps, and scenery that rivals anything out west or east. For the advanced and expert skier who enjoys great snow you will have the time of your life.
:: Jeff from Oak Lawn,IL ::

Mount Bohemia has the best advanced terrain in the Midwest by far. Great tree runs,moguls,and steep pitches.
Terrific views also.
:: Andyfrom Manitowoc,WI ::

Living in Portland, OR, I ski such places as Whistler (BC), Crystal (WA), and Mt. Hood (OR). While recently visiting family and friends in WI, I took a short side trip to the Keewenaw in Northern Michigan, and I found out to my amazement that Mt. Bohemia is comparable to these other mountainous ski areas. Perched on an ancient volcanic peninsula on Lake Superior, it’s like nothing else in the Midwest. Mt. Bohemia has long runs of almost 1,000 vertical feet. These runs consist of sustained steep pitches with plenty of black diamond terrain, including cliffs and powdery glades. If I lived in the Midwest, Mt. Bohemia would be the only place I would ski, and I would ski it frequently. Since I live in Oregon, I now include Mt. Bohemia on my annual must-ski travel itinerary.
:: Patrick from Portland, OR ::

I was recently proved wrong when I said there was no place to get a little scared in the Midwest. I recently moved back from out west and thought my thirst would never be quenched the same again.... then I got invited to meet a couple of old shredder bros of mine who were meeting up there from places all over the country, an old jam session of sorts. I was blown out of my mind! The natural hits were so plentiful I couldn't wipe the shit grin off my face all day, not to metion the endless freshies in the postcard like back country. It was hard to believe I have been wasting my time jibbin these bumps down south like (Just to be politically correct I wont say names but they do rhyme with Cindydianhead, Chowderhorn, Smack Jack, and Pee Brule.) I will never ride there again. Thanks for being the olive in my vodka! Cheers! P.S. Pleeeeease keep your hill all advanced, it provided a feeling of unspoken commrodery with the other rippers not to mention the lack of gapers holding up the line, or standing on the top of the jumps! keep it real.
:: Jeff from Minocqua, WI::
